GRAMMY RECAP 2011

GRAMMY RECAP 2011

Were you as impressed with last night’s
53rd Annual Grammy Awards as we were??

From the Aretha tribute to Arcade Fire‘s surprise win of the night, we were glued.

Here’s a link to a full list of winners

It’s hard to believe that only ten awards are announced on the TV broadcast.  Lady Antebellum swept 3 of those televised and 2 more off-screen.  Shocker? Not as much as Esperanza Spalding’s BEST NEW ARTIST win.  Apparently, she was the most Googled artist throughout the span of the awards.  We couldn’t be happier to see Arcade Fire win BEST ALBUM and we were most impressed by the amount of A list artists that performed from various generations. Miss out on any performances of the night? Check out the recap and videos in this article from Washington Post.
